August 21st will be my LAST CHEMO SESSION AND WE WILL CELEBRATE!! I realize that our son Ryan’s wedding will be September 23rd and I will still have no hair. Oh well. We choose to view this as a mark of God’s goodness and love. My prayer is to be at the wedding if the final Pet Scan and blood work allows me to despite my pants falling off since I have lost so much weight.”
As my good friend Jon said to me the other day, “ROBB, IT IS BETTER TO BE SEEN THAN VIEWED!!” I had to smile since the truth of what he said was not far away. You have to keep some sense of humor!
